Miscellaneous Page Open.

Finally, the all-important Misc. Poems page is up, with three poems. Admittedly, "Warm Leatherette" is based on a song of the same name; in fact, my poem is a bit of a rewrite of the original lyrics. My last poetry teacher (Judson Mitcham) praised "Weimar Bauhaus, 1919" as my best work this year, and has been sent off to The Georgia Review. Fingers crossed.

I'm not even sure what's happening in "Isolation". It was just the result of a lonely afternoon and a single exercise prompt.

Enjoy.

New Section - Music Poetry.

Music has always been crazy important to me. What I listen to - and I listen to a LOT - is how I identify myself. So, last semester, I experimented a bit with poems about music and musicians. Right now I've got two - but I have a few more ideas in the pipeline. This is an idea I really want to expand upon, so it deserves its own section. Expect the misc. section soon!

Opening Night.

Evening. This site shall be a showcase for the poetry I've been working on. For right now, I call it "Tactile Poetry" - because I prefer a more concrete style. Today, I've added pages for the projects I'm currently engaged in - the "Playing With Food" portfolio (title pending) and the Fear of Flesh story arc. Expect more additions soon.

I should add that "To The Chicken" and "Part 1 - Fear of Flesh" have been submitted to The Georgia Review. Should get a reply in about two-three months.
