Remember the poem I wrote on Weimar Bauhaus? Well, after all the praise I've garnered from that track - and the hours of study I poured into making it - I've decided to start writing a novel on that crazy lil' art school. Or, more specifically, on the artists that attended, how they weathered the rise and fall of the Weimar Republic and the simultaneous shifts in the Bauhaus's philosophy. Yeah, it's a huge concept. Not sure if it'll fit in one novel. But I'm building it bit by bit.
Phase 1
Intro - This is an intro - a teaser, if you will - for the first phase of the Bauhaus school, the Expressionist period. I can't say if this will make the final cut or not - it's really more of an exercise for me, a way to get the ball going on this novel without thinking too deeply about scenes or characters.
